Jatiluwih Rice Terraces & Tabanan Highlights Full Day Tour
This tour visits the iconic Jatiluwih Rice Terraces plus some special sights not often included in tour itineraries.
Enroute to Jatiluwih there is a stop at Sangeh Monkey Forest. Follow the walking path through the forest and see the beautiful temple inside the forest. The forest is not as populated as Ubud Monkey Forest and the monkey are not so naughty. The driver and guide will accompany you if preferred.
Jatiluwih is an UNESCO World Heritage site as rice terraces maintain traditional water irrigation system called Subak. The views are very beautiful which explains why the area was named Jati (really) Luwih (special). Upon arrival choose one of the many walking paths amongst the rice terraces. It is truly beautiful and not as challenging as Tegalalang Rice Terrace in the Ubud area. Afterward enjoy a well earned lunch at a rustic cafe that has an mesmerizing view of the rice terraces, great photo opportunities, good coffee and delicious toasted cheese sandwich.
Last stop is Leke Leke Waterfall the most picturesque waterfall in the Tabanan area and a great spot to cool off.
